Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Business Development & Campus Growth: Drive local business development, collaborate with marketing and sales teams to increase student enrolments and support campus expansion strategies, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Academic Leadership: Manage educators and training staff to deliver high-quality courses aligned with national standards. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and continuous curriculum improvement.
  • Campus Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, administration, facilities management, student support services, and campus logistics to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Industry, Employers and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with industry, employers, and community stakeholders, and promote student work placements and industry-relevant training.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all campus activities meet IHNA policies, legislative requirements, and quality standards. Participate in internal audits, manage risk, and ensure accreditation and legislative compliance.
  • Student Experience & Support: Facilitate student retention, manage feedback systems, uphold academic integrity, and support student wellbeing across VET courses.
  • Training & Assessment: Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs, ensuring they are well-structured, engaging, and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Implement strategies to achieve KPIs, monitor campus performance, and provide detailed reports to executive leadership.
  • Business Growth: Support new business initiatives, tenders, and revenue streams, aligning programs with market and industry needs.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Foster ongoing engagement with IHNA working committees to keep training current, compliant and industry relevant.
  • Operational Management: Lead campus facilities, resources and equipment’s logistics allocation, and administrative functions to support high standards of simulation, safety, ethics, and inclusivity.
  • Regulatory & Funding Compliance: Maintain currency with reporting, auditing, and funding requirements at both state and federal levels.
  • Workforce Management: Effectively manage staffing levels to ensure the campus is adequately resourced to deliver high-quality services and training

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Degree in Management, Education, or related field (highly desirable)
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment (TAE) (desirable)
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, risk assessments, and quality assurance systems

  • Exceptional organisational, project management, and administrative skills—the capacity to oversee multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and sustain operational excellence.
  • A results-driven mindset—focused on continuous improvement, achieving KPIs, and driving performance outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills—the ability to influence, collaborate, and represent the organisation confidently across diverse audiences
