Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Education Manager/Course Manager to oversee and lead the educational and operational functions of our Melbourne CBD campus. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and an exceptional student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and review educational policies, training plans, and compliance frameworks.
Oversee campus operations, academic delivery, and support services.
Manage academic and administrative staff performance and development.
Ensure compliance with ASQA, TEQSA, CRICOS, and RTO Standards.
Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and financial performance targets.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and prepare for audits and reviews.
Ensure student satisfaction, progression, and employment outcomes.
Represent HCI in external forums, industry groups, and partnership negotiations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Compliance with national standards (ASQA audits passed).
Achievement of budget and enrolment targets.
Student satisfaction and course completion rates.
Staff retention and professional development engagement.
Timely reporting and policy updates.
Positive stakeholder and industry partnerships.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an educational leadership or training management role is required, along with at least 1 year of relevant experience within Australia.
Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
Proven understanding of compliance frameworks (ASQA, TEQSA, CRICOS, RTO Standards).
Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational resources.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Expertise in curriculum development and academic quality assurance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education/ Nursing
Postgraduate qualifications such as a Master of Nursing or equivalent (highly desirable).
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) – essential for RTO management.
