Job Description

The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. This role involves managing profit & loss, revenue, expenses, reconciliations, and audits while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.

2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (AASB, IFRS) and support audits.

3. Maintain accurate General Ledger entries and reconciliations.

4. Identify and implement efficiency improvements

5. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders (auditors, agents)

6. Oversee P&L, revenue, prepayments, and agent commissions.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional certification (e.g.CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) qualification is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise with client and colleagues
  • Experience of contributing to a team environment
  • Capacity to use relevant accounting software and Windows based networks (MSOffice Suite).
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and lead team to achieve results
  • Ability to work under pressure and individually.

Benefits:

  • Salary Ranges from Rs80,000 to Rs1,00,000 per month based on relevant experience.
