We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic People and Culture Officer to support our growing organisation, handling over 600 employees across multiple campuses. This role will be based out of our Kochi office or remotely from anywhere in India.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the organization.
Learning and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills.
Oversee the implementation of learning initiatives to align with organizational goals.
Performance Management:
Support managers in setting performance objectives and conducting regular appraisals.
Develop and implement performance improvement plans when required.
HR Operations:
Maintain and update employee records in the ELMO HRMS (Human Resource Management System).
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Handle employee relations and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with campus managers and department heads across all locations.
Assist in implementing initiatives to boost employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR roles, preferably within the education or healthcare sector.
Strong skills in recruitment, learning and development, and performance management.
Proficiency in using HRMS platforms and related tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Experience handling a workforce of 300+ employees is highly desirable.
