We are currently seeking:

Trainer/Assessor, School of Allied Health and Human Services, IHNA - CHC51015 – Diploma of Counselling / CHC53315 - Diploma of Mental Health

About Role:
The Trainer/Assessor at IHNA delivers high-quality training and support to students, fostering motivation and success. They collaborate with course coordinators to design, refine, and evaluate course materials, ensuring ongoing improvement. All efforts adhere strictly to standards and regulations set forth by ASQA, ANMAC, and other relevant regulatory bodies. This commitment to compliance and quality enhancement creates an environment conducive to effective learning and student achievement.

Desired Skills and Experience

Additional duties may be assigned as needed to fulfill the role's requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engaging students with creative activities and programs.
  • Making sure assessments are done according to policy and providing constructive feedback.
  • Conducting student satisfaction surveys and maintaining a 75% satisfaction rate.
  • Collecting feedback from facilities and submitting it.
  • Supporting students with learning difficulties and special needs.
  • Attending monthly meetings

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Vocational competencies at least to the level of qualifications delivered
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116);
  • Certification in Diploma of Counselling/Diploma of Mental Health;

Please note successful candidates are required to have the following checks:

  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) or willing to apply for one.
  • Working with Children Check or willing to apply for one.
