About the Role

At IHM Australia, we are passionate about helping students build meaningful careers in healthcare and community services. We are currently seeking a motivated and student-focused Student Recruitment Officer to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for prospective students, you will play a key role in guiding students through their education journey, providing accurate course information, and supporting enrolment outcomes across domestic and international markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, achieving targets, and making a positive impact through education.

Key responsibilities include managing student enquiries, delivering accurate advice, and converting prospective leads into enrolments. The position also involves close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and college teams to support both domestic and international students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective students through phone, email, social media, and website enquiries
  • Provide personalised guidance on courses, career pathways, and study options
  • Support domestic and international students throughout the enrolment process
  • Meet intake and enrolment targets while maintaining a high standard of student service
  • Conduct campus tours and assist with student engagement activities and events
  • Maintain accurate student records and follow-up communications
  • Stay up to date with Australian student visa regulations and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Admissions, Academic, and Campus teams to ensure a seamless student experience

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year experience in student recruitment, admissions, education consulting, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of Australian student visa processes and international student requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • A target-driven mindset with a passion for student success
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to ethical and student-centred practices
