Job Description

About the Role:

Student Recruitment Officers serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through course options, enrolment processes, and academic pathways while supporting informed career decisions. They provide accurate advice on student requirements, including Australian visa regulations and assessment processes, and handle enquiries with the aim of converting prospects into enrolments. The role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Digital Marketing, and campus teams to effectively support both domestic and international students in a campus-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to prospective students from social media campaigns and direct website or phone enquiries, aiming to convert eligible candidates into enrolment.
  • Meet intake-specific enrolment targets and receive additional incentives for each successful enrolment.
  • Offer genuine advice to students, helping them select courses matched to their interests, educational history, and career aspirations.
  • Stay updated on Australian immigration rules regarding student and related visas.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of student visa conditions and understand differing requirements for onshore and offshore enrolments.
  • Meet students face-to-face on campus, conduct campus tours, and provide guidance.

  •  Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least two years in a similar role assisting international students with course selection
  • Strong understanding of Australian student visa processes and immigration requirement
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results
  • Ability to provide ethical, student-centered advice
