Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee academic administration, including admissions, enrolments, student records, progression, completions, and graduation processes.

  • Manage student lifecycle management with high accuracy, ensuring compliance with TEQSA and Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) 2021.

  • Administer ESOS Act and National Code requirements, including PRISMS reporting for international students.

  • Lead student records and reporting, maintaining data integrity in student management systems (SMS).

  • Support academic governance through regulatory reporting, audits, and quality assurance initiatives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise processes for student participation, retention, and success.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in TEQSA-regulated higher education environments, managing academic administration and student lifecycle.

  • Strong understanding of HESF (Threshold Standards) 2021, focusing on student participation, progression, and academic integrity.

  • Proven expertise with ESOS Act, National Code, PRISMS, and student management systems (SMS).

  • Experience overseeing admissions, enrolments, records, graduations, and regulatory reporting with strict confidentiality.

  • High attention to detail and data governance skills in a compliance-focused role.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in administration, education, or a related field.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Leadership in higher education student services or registry operations.

  • Proficiency in advanced reporting tools and higher education data analytics.

  • Certification in records management or regulatory compliance.
