Key Responsibilities

  • Lead institutional quality assurance frameworks, ensuring alignment with TEQSA compliance and Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) 2021.

  • Oversee academic governance, policy development, and risk and compliance processes to support audits, registrations, and re-registrations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality systems and data analytics for enhanced student outcomes and operational excellence.

  • Manage ESOS Act and National Code requirements, including risk management for international student programs.

  • Engage stakeholders across academic and corporate areas to foster a culture of compliance and innovation.

  • Conduct internal audits, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions for sustained quality assurance.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with TEQSA regulatory frameworks and supporting institutional audits, registrations, and re-registrations.

  • Strong understanding of HESF (Threshold Standards) 2021, including quality systems, policy governance, and data-driven improvement.

  • Proven knowledge of ESOS Act and National Code requirements in a higher education context.

  • Experience in risk and compliance management, academic governance, and institutional quality assurance.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across academic and corporate functions.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., quality management, education, or business).

  • Prior leadership in continuous improvement projects within private higher education providers.

  • Familiarity with higher education software for compliance tracking and reporting.

  • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISO or Lead Auditor).
