Job Description

The E-Learning Administrator oversees the institution's online learning platform, ensuring a smooth and effective e-learning experience for both students and faculty. This role involves collaborating with academic staff, IT professionals, and various stakeholders to improve the quality, accessibility, and functionality of online education across the institution.

Desired Skills and Experience

Main duties and responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Identifying and addressing challenges with instructors to improve course completion rates.
  • Collaborating with faculty and designers to enhance e-learning content quality.
  • Managing technology platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Analyzing feedback to refine the e-learning experience.
  • Ensuring accurate and updated platform content by coordinating with academic departments.
  • Developing online training programs aligned with objectives and guiding instructors on platform use.

Selection criteria:
The successful applicant for the role of E Learning administrator will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:

Qualifications
•    Diploma or bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
•    Relevant certifications in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, or educational technology platforms preferrable.

Experience
•    Proven experience in the e-learning administration or a similar role.
•    Experience with online course design, curriculum development, and instructional design principles with proficiency in web design software’s such as Adobe Presenter, Whiteboard etc Preferable

Skills and Competencies

  • Computer skills like knowledge of MS Office suite and maintain E-learning platform.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students and colleagues.
  • Creative approach to make the online learning effective and interesting for students.
  • Capacity to solve problems regarding assessments, course delivery etc.
  • Highly developed organisational skills including record keeping of student performance.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of WHS management processes followed in IHNA
