Job Description
About Role:
The Placement Coordinator ensures seamless organization of student work placements, aligning with course schedules and compliance standards. This role involves sourcing and securing agreements with placement providers while adhering to ASQA, ANMAC, TEQSA, and industry regulations. The coordinator plays a vital role in supporting students' practical learning experiences.
Main duties and responsibilities include (not limited to):
Student Placement Success – Ensure 90% of students secure clinical placements within six months of course completion.
Partnership Development & Retention – Establish new placement agreements annually and maintain a 90% retention rate of existing partners.
Regulatory Compliance – Maintain 100% adherence to clinical placement regulations and industry standards.
Student & Stakeholder Satisfaction – Achieve a 4.5/5+ placement satisfaction rating and 85% stakeholder approval in quarterly review meetings.
Pre-Placement Support & Matching – Provide guidance to 95% of students, ensuring 90% satisfaction, and maintain 98% accuracy in student placement assessments.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Healthcare, Nursing, & Education.
Minimum 2 years of experience in student placements, healthcare coordination, or academic administration.
Registered Nurse with current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
Understanding of ASQA, ANMAC, TEQSA, and other relevant compliance frameworks for clinical placements.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain placement partnerships.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Awareness about the requirements of the various regulatory bodies such as ASQA, TEQSA and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for student placements.
• Proficient in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
