Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Course Development and Design
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhance retention and application.
Visualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and deliverables to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Collaboration and Analysis
Work with subject matter experts to identify training needs and define instructional end goals.
Conduct instructional research and learner analysis to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
Instructional Strategy and Tools
Apply tested instructional design theories, methodologies, and practices.
Formulate and plan supporting materials, including audio, video, simulations, role plays, and games.
Provide pedagogical guidance and technical assistance to academic staff in designing effective learning resources, leveraging contemporary teaching and learning practices
Develop and prepare innovative pedagogical and learning resources using a variety of media for blended and online learning environments
Adhere to appropriate quality frameworks and copyright requirements as required
Assessment and Evaluation
Develop assessment instruments to evaluate learners’ performance and ensure content alignment with objectives.
Establish criteria to measure training effectiveness and learner outcomes.
Test, troubleshoot, and adapt learning solutions based on feedback, functionality and constraints
Project Management and Documentation
Maintain project documentation, course folders, and manage timelines effectively.
Ensure deliverables align with branding, frameworks and quality standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Design, or a related field.
Alternatively, any degree with extensive experience in the eLearning field.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
